Leicester City biography
Leicester City Football Club is a professional football club based in Leicester, England. The club was founded in 1884 as Leicester Fosse. The club's home ground is the King Power Stadium, which has a capacity of 32,315. Leicester City has a rich history, having won the Premier League in the 2015-2016 season, as well as three League Cups in 1964, 1997, and 2000. The club has also been runners-up in the FA Cup on four occasions.
Leicester City controversies
Leicester City Football Club has had several controversies over the years. One notable controversy occurred in 2014 when three of the club's players were filmed in an orgy with a Thai woman, who was later revealed to be a racist. The incident led to the players being sacked and the club being fined by the Football Association. In 2018, the club's owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, was killed in a helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium. The tragedy was widely mourned by football fans around the world.
